What is Femininity?

What is femininity? What does it mean to be a feminine woman? This meaning has been lost as our society has made greater advances to equality, which has often been mistaken for the equivocation of the sexes. Yes, we are equal, but we are different and our differences should be acknowledged and embraced. Our value is the same as human beings. We share similarities, but men and women are different creatures with fundamental differences. This is a general overview as there are some men and women who skew more towards qualities of the opposite gender. Due to the blurring of gender lines, the asexualization of our society, we have lost our sense of what it truly means to be feminine. Women in our society are able to adapt to the masculine in the workplace. It has been expected of them. Masculinity has been valued, but femininity has not, so as modern women, we need to reconnect to our true sense of femininity.
